had about a 16 inch ice sandwich everywhere and 20 degrees.. Both late for work and both vehicles stuck........ 50 degrees outside this morning and got bit by a mosquito in the barn.....

No.... Just in a warm corner by the poop pile......... pretty damp and drizzly these days and there are worms on the roads, couple bushes by the driveway are budding, and you see swarms of little bugs (knats??) everywhere..... Some birds are acting like it's springtime also..... Prolly gonna get a slap in the face in a couple weeks.......

But hey...... a minute more daylight every day now.....

haven't even taken the goldfish out of the rain barrels yet come to think of it..... Better giterdun I guess in case it does freeze next month.......

Just got home from pushing snow (clean-up this morning). Wednesday night started snow unti 3 PM yesterday. 18-20 inches. Got home at midnight, laid down for 2 hours and went back out this morning. Still have 1 guy out doing some more finish/cleaning work.

Found a tick, again, crawling up the Weimeriner's nose last night. Just think, it will hit us hard when it comes. Have my studded tires ready.

We're stuck in a high pressure system in the Pacific Northwest- usually freezes at night (upper 20's), cold and usually foggy during the day. And NO rain! Normal for the month is over 7 inches, we've had 41 hundreds so far- record low is about an inch and a half.

It seems like this could be one of the warmest Decembers on record here in Minnesota. We're only about 3 weeks away from the coldest day of the year (average) and I'm still complaining about mud! Forecast is for high 30s and 40s through the rest of the month too. I still haven't had to dig my snowplow out of the weeds yet either.
