O. T. Gonna be typing a little slower.

Best of luck with the surgery.

I am getting slow enough without being cut on, but should have a MRI run.

My right arm has been all but worthless since August. Won't go into the details, but worker comp will pay for the bills if I do it.

It is the result of a car wreck on my mail route that almost rolled my car, no fault of my own. DOUG

(quoted from post at 21:18:05 12/22/11) Having carpal tunnel surgery in the morning. Mark

Good Luck.... Wife had it in both hands. 1st one took awhile to get OK, 2nd one was done by a different Doc and a slight different procedure and never really bothered her after the first couple days.... As meaningless as they seem, do the little exercises they tell you to do with the fingers....

Good luck. I had it on both hands. Glad I did things have worked out pretty good and I don't wake up at night with my arm hurting from my hand to my elbow. Could be a little rough doing a few things like wiping your a$$ if it is your primary hand done.

I had the operation on my left hand about 30 years ago. An hour after the operation, feeling was coming back in my fingers already.

Recovery was quick and painless, but as I recall it was several months before I had full strength back in the hand.

Since I've never had a problem on my right hand, I've always suspected the problem in my left hand went back to when I dumped a motorcycle in Japan and landed on a blacktop street with the heel of my left had taking the brunt of it.
