O/T light bulbs

went to wally world today, found some 60watt bulbs for 96 cents.SHOCKED, guess where they are made,yes in the USA.

I don"t go to wally mart any more. About a year ago they have 60 registers and only two open about 15 people in front of me I just left the cart and walked out.I refuse to be treated like cattle. Sorry if went OT but still PO about it.

Dont feel alone. Been there done that for the same reason. Now I only go to wally world to use their bathroom. I dont feel at all guilty dumping and dashing on them because I feel they have dumped on America.

Good thing them stores are open 24 hours so you guys can sneak in at 2AM and not get caught by the folks you tell that you won't shop there :roll:

Problem there is they pay the manager a monthly bonus for "meeting" payroll. That is determined as a percentage of payroll against gross sales for the month. It's an incentive for the store managers to keep as few of employees on the clock as possible.

I quit shopping Wal Mart but not because of that. I got tired of not getting help when needed, untrained employees and just because I like to support my local owned businesses.

When we were shopping for a TV we found WW to be the
only place were we found any good help, and we have

As we may recall, regular bulbs have basically been outlawed in the USA, starting with 100 watt bulbs in a week. Many stores are just selling out inventory at a discount to clear up shelf space, as manufaturers stop production and clear out production lines.....

Really dislike Walmart food side of the store, the hardgoods side is like any other retailer anywhere, sells mostly stuff from china for about as low a cost as they can do so. Our Walmart closes at 11:00pm, must be the only one in the country that isn't open 24/7?

That is one thing that drives me up the wall. 55 checkout lines and only two open. Plus I know someone that works at Wal Mart and she wont shop there.

Thought the 100 watt day was put off till next Oct,,but found package of Two US made 100 watt bulbs for sale today at local discount (FRED,S) % .50
Stocked up.
