Recording off the internet

A few months ago someone posted the name of a program they used to record music etc off the internet and it was a good one.
I switched to a new computer and failed to bring it over to this new one. Can anyone remind me what the program was?

I've used Total Recorder for 10 or 12 years; it'll capture ANY sound that will come thru your speakers. It's not free, but is inexpensive.

Fire fox has an extension you can download for free (download helper)that will let you download you tube videos, etc and convert them to many different formats including wmv, wma, mp3 etc. You do not even have to wait for the whole video/audio to finish playing to capture it all. Really helped me to get some music to digital that I had only had on cassette tapes from the old days.
