really nice pictures. Do you go to the Haags Hotel in Shartelsville? Ihey bring out enough food there for an army! Is it still there? Havent been ny there in awhile. You should come see us one weekend,its not far from you... Larry and family

Larry, i can almost see Haag's from my house. Yes, they are still open. 6th generation operating it now. We were there for breakfast several weeks ago. All you can eat eggs, bacon, ham, scrapple, homefries, pancakes etc.

About a mile away from me is Mountain Springs Arena. They have pro rodeos once a month in the summer (evenings). Next summer, after you and the mrs are done playing in the garden, you should take a ride out. I'm only 20 minutes from the New Smithville exit. Let me know in advance.... i can register you for the bull riding........LOL

Great shots- Used to go to the Lancaster, New Holland area to New Nolland service school in the '70's. Where does the time go? It was a 10 hour drive basically straight south so I think your winters weren't that bad. Thanks for sharing......Ron [looked at that 472 knife drive v-belt yet?]

Thanks for the pix. y'know, you see a decent photo in a magazine occasionally, but you seldom get an idea of what a certain locality really looks like until someone posts photos like that. Do those houses have elevators? lol
