Got off night shift, did chores, and jumped on the tractor (with the dog who wouldn't take no for an answer) and took the 45 minute ride to get my new tires put on. Worked out real well and a nice surprise... Took the tractor right in and started when I got there, dog got babied by a couple of girls that work in the office, guy that sold me the tires has a corvette that he bought and shipped over and was asking about parts. Gave him the rock auto website and my address to ship to (save him a bunch of bucks)... When he was writing up the bill I joked that I'm just a poor hobby guy that don't get the taxbreaks and subsidies that the farmers get (he's a farmer)... He smiled and scratched/scribbled some changes... Ended up not paying disposal on the two and half the labor, and 60 bucks less on each tire....... Prolly still expensive by you folks' standards but 2 Continental 12,4x32's for 205 euro ($266) and he gave me a new ballast filler valve with instructions and a very interesting and big Stihl calendar . Believe one of the girls is gonna buy our last puppy also..... Pretty decent morning...Followed it up with a funeral in the afternoon but that's a different story.....
