Propane Cost where you are at!

I just had my house propane tank topped off today. I don't use too much with a corn fire boiler doing most of the heating. (I use old seed corn. I get it by the trailer load from Pioneer in IL.) Anyway. The propane was $1.89 per gallon for home heating. I did not think that was too bad of price. I don't have a contract or anything else. This was just the spot cost of 400 gallons delivered into my tank. I do get a 5 cents per gallon discount for having my own tank.

So what is the cost for propane in your neck of the woods???

I have not bought any since October but it was $2.59 then. This is in north Alabama. It usually gets higher on into the winter.

$2.00 plus 4% sales tax on Nov 21. The price at the pipeline terminal has gone down a few pennies since then but I don"t know if that affected the truck price at all.

Just paid $3 per gallon at "bulk" rate for propane here in central New York. Also just got a load of farm diesel for $3.59 per gallon. At the pump, diesel is $4.30.

Just filled up 12-1-11. Price was $1.86 from Cenex in SE SD. I didn't contract any this year. Diesel was $3.84 at a Love's on the interstate yesterday. Been slowly coming down. Gas is $2.97 for 10% Ethanol.

100 gallons delivered 11-21-11 to dairy barn was $3.25/gal. plus $5.00 trans. fuel charge ,plus $4.95 regulatory compliance (??????). Northwestern North Carolina.

$4.35/ gal. a few weeks ago in tax free NH. Where electricity is about the highest in the country also.
