3 point on a a payloader?

We feed with a payloader and tractor with feed wagon during the feeding season. Tossed around the idea of putting a 3pt on the back for several years but never got serious about it. Been a mild winter so far, so things are caught up for change. We would use it for carrying an extra bale or two on the back. I have never seen one rigged up on the back of a payloader, anyone seen one set up before? Besides building one completely from scrap the only tractors I know of that have a stand alone 3pt are the older case 4wd tractors, this is the one pictured it is on a 2470, but it is too heavy for what we are going to use it for. The width of the frame on the case is about the same as the 544B it would go on. Are there any 2wd tractors that had a stand alone 3pt that didnt have the rock shaft through the tractor housing?

I think you're best bet would be an aftermarket 3 point- they're "stand alone", by definition. Shouldn't be too hard to adapt.

Might not be what you need, but look at a 3 pt power traction hitch on an Oliver 770 880. They are a bolt on unit. Might give you some ideas. Jody

Found a picture of one, that looks like it would probably work also, might be on the light side, also local salvage yards don't have any. Thanks for the information.

I have looked into them, new they are around 2500 for a cat 2, I havent been able to find a used one. The lighter ones used on IH M's and H's are around and cheap, but they aren't heavy enough. Salvage yard wants quite a bit for one off the 4wd case too, so this idea might end up costing more than it returns.
