Any one heard of a knuckle replacement? I have heard of hip, knee and shoulder joint replacement surgery but not knuckle replacement. Yesterday, I went to a hand Dr. and he says the only way to ease the pain in my left hand big knuckle is to replace the joint, Any off the YT clan ever had it done?
 
i haven't had it done, but they were doing it 20 years ago, lady here in town had hand done because of arthritis

Seems very hard to find info on the finger joints..
Been hearing sketchy info once in a while but not enough..
I know people who would be candidates, if they are available...

Not the same thing but close----I have arthritas and about 6 years ago, I had the trapezium bone removed in my left hand. This bone is located in the thumb joint.
NO MORE PAIN!!!--with only minor disability!!!! -----had this done in Birmingham Alabama
 
Ask them about using some tendon out of your arm. Did both of my thumbs. Hand Doc said it was better than a joint replacement. Have not had any problems. Wish the could have done that with my knee.
 
Sorta late to make this post, Thanks to John T and others for the answers. After I left Mr John T at the Elnora show, I went to the Last show for the Harry Lee Collection and I end up buying the three motor F30 I H C on steel wheels. I have finally learned how to operate all three or any one of the three motors.
