Oh no snow today

Got up this morning to find about an inch of snow on stuff. Sure would have been nice to get it say a week ago when deer season was still on for gun hunting. Sort of funny to see cars and trucks in the ditch with as little snow as we had but there where a few

Here in Toone, TN we are suppose to get snow later tonight or in the morning, according to my wife who is ironically as wrong(Exactly as wrong) as the weather channel.

Ya they the weather men that is started calling for snow on Sunday night but not a thing till this morning so they where a day or 2 late

First couple of snows here every year sends alot of people in the ditch. They act like they've never driven on it before. The slushy stuff is the worst, zero control when you get on it. It gets alot better the colder it gets.

Snow on the ground here in West Central Illinois as well. First so far this year, usually we see snow in late Nov and beginning of Dec. Saw a few places where vehicles had gone in the ditch. Seems people have forgotten how to drive in the winter.

Oh yeah, the weather guesser said it would be sunny and clear today, no mention of snow. But it is winter, so most folks know to be ready for snow and ice.

We got ours Sat afternoon and night. It did improve the shotgun hunting on Sunday. About 3 or 4 inches. NW Iowa.

Got our first snow 3-4 weeks ago (which is late for here) but the roads have been terrible until the last few days when it got well below freezing.

Warm roads with snow makes nasty slush which is terrible to drive on, even for experienced winter drivers.

I like when its well below freezing and the roads are just a packed mat of snow and smooth to drive on. Sure they are slippery but at least they are predictable.
Ideal winter roads around here.

We got just a skiff tonight. Just in time to replace the stuff that just melted. Sure wish it'd get cold enough to freeze so I could get at the wood cutting. Nothing but mud around here now.

-18 here this morning, Was pushing snow since 2:30 AM yesterday. Got done at 4:30 PM yesterday. Bright sunny day today. Didn't get above 30 degrees today. Going antelope hunting tomorrow.
