I dont hunt,but deer season opens today in NJ , I have never seen as many dead deer along the roads as a I have seen this year. I think its better if a hunter gets them than a car or truck. just my 02 cents

I bet they all come out to Ohio, cause gun season ended last Saturday....

Last week on my 3 days in NJ for work I saw half dozen deer. I80, I287, Rt 17.
Last one was horrific.
Still alive, shaking and convulsing after being run over multiply times in rush hour traffic.

1st shotgun season opened in Iowa sat (3rd). I had mine tagged & bagged by 8:00 AM sat. We hunt with a group, and struggled all day Sat and Sun to get the grandson one, but it didn't happen this year. He can't take any time from school this year because of Freshman basketball rules. I'd rather see him get his than me, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Gun season just closed here in Missouri yesterday. Been a bad year this year. Seen very few deer any where be it in the woods or on the side of the road. I know there here just do not seem to be moving like they do most years. Many that had to do with warm weather and high winds. I have taken 2 this year one with bow and one with my SKS rifle
Michigan's gun season runs from November 15th to 30. Now we're in muzzle loader season. When that ends, then it's extended doe season until the end of the month... Most of the deer are taken by now, or are hiding out pretty deep in the swamp... Went out last nite, didn't see a thing, neither did my son. But then we put a pretty decent dent in the population during rifle season.
