Roll up tarps

I recently made a tarp system for my grain truck,complete with hoops,etc.What a difference it has made in harvesting!!Now I no longer need to find a shed,or worry about rain/snow on my grain.Just roll it over the load and you're set!We just had our first snow,the truck is 1/4 loaded and out in the field and the grain is DRY! COOL!Will post pics later.Steve

A friend that trucks hay bought a new van trailer a few years ago with rollover tarp. He loves it

steve: welcome to the 21st century,,,lol,,thats what i was hauling from mt-vista to golden with that grain trailers..water tight, keep dry from the weather along transporting....don't miss the job, new job is asphalt hauling where they have roll tarps,,[front to rear] keeps asphalt warm during transporting...

The dump truck haulers are buying electric tarps around here, they don t even get out of the cab and roll-unroll a 45 ft tarp.

thats the way to go, my last truck had an electric one on it, before that i made my own systems for the roll tarps, not hard, and even getting out to hand crank it beats the heck out of having to climb up on top of the load then fight the tarp into place with the wind blowing, while the dot waits to see if in fact you will tarp your load or he gets to write a 156 doller ticket, [ i got 1, never hauled a untarped load again, the one i got ticketed for was bolders 4 to 5 feet around, umm.. there not gonna blow out of the bed, ]
