14 th Wedding Aniversary Today

This tops my previous record by 6 months. First Wife died on me after 13.5 years.I don't know what we will do tonight to celebrate as She is mad at Me and won't speak.

Congradulations . I had (so I thought anyhow) a wonderful marriage of 33 yrs to the most gorgous woman in my eyes . But one day I came home from work to hear her say I"m leaving , I don"t love you nor have I ever loved you . I asked her about the vows she made in 1966 & her reply was they meant nothing , it was all a big front plus we weren"t Christians at the time . I didn"t know that was in the rules . So 1 month after I signed her off , she married a playboy drug head & a totally wasted alcoholic . I wondered many times if her 2nd round of vows were made as a Christian . So, I"m single but lonely , old & in bad health .What a rewarding life I"ve had . Sorry for the rant . I do hope you two lovely people can work out any problems that fall in your paths , & live to celebrate many more years togetter . God bless, Ken

Congrats... Just hit 14 the end of september........ Hope you work things out.......If it gets ugly, hit her in the stomach or on top of the head.... One don't bruise as easy and the other she'll havta shave to prove anything :lol:

If it's somethin stupid, just get her in a headlock and take her to dinner.....

Dear Ken,
Thank You.We don't say unkind things to one another and it Never lasts for more than an hour or two. We love each other very much and The Lord is in the center of our Marriage. Ours is a long story and one day when I have time I will tell it.

I am glad for you. Now go and get her talking to you life is too short to be mad at your spouse. My first wife died at 45 years old with cancer. You never know when it is your turn. SO go asked her if you are killed in a car wreck today does she want the last time she sees you to be when she is not talking to you????????

First marrage 29 years. We where only sixteen when we married. My oldest son was already started. We always teased him about being in the wedding picture. I have been remarried twelve years this time.

Congrats to you. Glad the spats don't last long. Hope you have many, many years of happiness.

For both James and I, our first marriages were rough. We disagree sometimes, but never fight (that's the truth). We had enough of that in our first marriages to last a life time. We're now at 23+ yrs.

14 years? Darned newly-weds! And she will not speak to you.....thats a keeper!!!! :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Ron , good news is that you two are Christians & have put him at the center of everything . My X & I were Born again Christians . She was very active in our Church , teaching SS classes , bell choir & etc . I was somewhat active but health issues sometimes iterferred .Anyhow , my X was going thru change of life & was scheduled for a full hysterectomy due to some health issues . She atarted working at a state mental health place , started coming home telling me about her day & God was using her to reach co workers . Thru the grapevine I learned she was getting overly friendly with a couple male coworkers . I asked her not to let satan get her thru her sweet friendly actions . She of course always denied any thing I heard . Well now I realize things I could see in her at home but at that time I didn't . Then that day she droped the bomb . I heard she was actually involved with 3 different guys of which she married . To my bewilderment she still felt Saved & being used by God . Makes no sense to me . She worked on my mind taking me back to my abused childhod by repeating things my Dad used to say to me about being disqusting ,& how she never wanted to be with a fat bald man . Then she said that without her , I'd be a nobody ,our friends were only interested in her not me , then she'd say : well your Dad was right that I'd amount to nothing in life , I was a sloppy fat bald man & she was embarrassed to be seen in public with me . Then she'd throw it in my face that she brought more money home than I did & without her money I'd have nothing . The finalee was she begged me to shoot myself so I'd be out of her & her boyfriends way . That my own kids & Grandchildren loved her lover more than me . I came too close to suicide that day . But being that I shot the bullet from my 357 into the ground instead , she had her lawyer issue a protection order against me . That day was a bad nite mare . 14 cops came into my home with guns , took every one of my guns , hand cuffed me , pushed me into a cruiser then had me evaluated at the hospital . But than God , the emetgency doctor was one I knew , he counsolled me for quite awhile then told the cops to trake the cuffs off , take me home & leave me alone . He also suggested they go get the wife & bring her in for an evaluation because she was the cause of my mental state . I was so thankful for that doctor being on duty that evening . I still carry anger at God for allowing satan to destroy a Christian couple . I still Love the Lord but have allowed a Gap in my relationship . My health deterioated soon after all the destruction she caused .Praying is very hard for me because I've not seen any answered . I'm sorry to be so long winded but this only a small portion of my past 11 yrs . I now suffer from severe depression & anziety attacks , so i've been under two doctors care plus several pills each day , I'm done , need some sleep now . God bless, Ken

Don't feel bad there my friend--- I was happily married for 30 years when I found out my wife was only married for 24 years she became mad when I quit my truck driving job that kept me away from home a lot .
