Lumpy asked the price of hay,this is the report from the Lancaster farm paper for the sale on nov 19 I was there this sat ,and the prices were about the same prices are per ton alfafa 205 to 395 mixed 170 to 275 clover 220 timothy 250 to 270 grass 155 to 255 straw 175 to 240

Larry,

I take it from the pictures that those per ton prices are for small square bales. If so, those prices are little bit, but only a little bit higher than here in Middle Tennessee.

If those prices are for large rolls, they are a lot higher than they are here.

Is it mostly just small load lots like what we see in the picture, or do they get semi loads in? Are there any customers around there who could justify buying a semi load, like a large dairy or something?

I have seen single axle large rack trucks ,but never a semi I really cant be sure enough to answer your question,sorry
