JD 430 cam bearings & head oiling???

Posted this on the JD forum as well, thought I would try here as well.
Starting to get familiar with this thing, but still have some questions. I have been having some problems with the machine shop that installed new cam bearings. I was an idiot and did not take any pictures of the old bearings, and do not remember how they were installed. I only have an IT shop manual, and it does not have a good oiling schematic. My questions are in regards to the lubrication to the head. The machinist installed the bearing with the only oil hole lined up with the hole to the head, which as far as I can tell completely blocks off the supply of oil from the pressure galley. How is the hole in the cam bearing supposed to be installed? I am thinking that it should be lined up with the slot from the pressure galley, and then the supply to the top end would be from the oil that is pushed out of the end of the bearing, so that the hole to the head is not covered by the bearing or the block plug? Also, does the notch in the edge of the bearing by the oil hole have any importance? Need to be lined up with anything?

Thanks in advance,
Josh
