That was by far the best peanut brittle we have ever had! What kind of jelly was that, that was great too! Did you and Nancy make it? Thanks so much ... Larry and family

The peanut brittle was made by a local church group as a fund-raiser.

Nancy found it at a local farm/feed store and bought all that was available.

She took it back to Dallas with her so that I wouldn't eat all of it.

Nancy made the cranberry/jalapeno jelly.

You'll need to talk to her about the recipe.

Glad you enjoyed both as much as we did.

Beautiful morning here on the farm.

Hope you have a good day today.

Didn't send me any candy. But that is probably a good thing. Give me a box of brittle and a Dr. Pepper. I ain't leaving the house until it is gone.

How's the rain up your way. We have had two inches in the last two weeks. Not much but it helps. Windy today and 45 according to my tractor thingey on the pole out front.

Got about 1.25 inches last Sunday night through Tuesday morning.

Got over 1 inch yesterday morning.

Burned 3 large brush piles this week after county burn ban was lifted.

Windy and about 60o today.

Nancy and I will take a tractor tour later this afternoon before she heads back to Dallas.

Yes, moved here permanently at the end of July.

Been getting a lot of "long-time" projects both completed and started.

Clearing a lot of brush from abandoned areas and getting caught up on all the mowing.

Working on a new field down in "the bottom" so it will be ready this Spring.

Have also been working on several tractors to get them in better operating condition.

Full-time work here on the farm doesn"t pay real good, but at least my boss appreciates my work.
