Gotta order a couple clips and tidy things up a little. but it'll be dry and no draft (from the front or sides) working this winter......

(quoted from post at 05:20:54 11/24/11) Looks like you could use some new skins on the back to keep from getting stuck in the snow.

I keep getting conflicting answers about new tires and snow chains (ladder type)............. Got the money set aside for both tires and chains.... maybe just get them and figure out how to overcome problems if they come up.

(quoted from post at 05:24:13 11/24/11) looks good dave, did the wife get to drive the new tractor yet?

not yet, but she got to ride 400 miles with me to pick it up yesterday and help me lift it on today

she will tho and it drives nicer than the other one.

Looks like that front end is out there about a foot further than with your old one. Maybe you ought to mount one of those orange fiberglass rods out there to help you to keep from running into stuff LOL,

(quoted from post at 05:25:15 11/24/11) Don't look bad at all there Dave. Exactly what model of IH is that?

Thanks...it's a German made 423 (info in my profile in modern view). don't know what American model it would compare to.....

believe it or not, this thing is 6" wider 8" longer, and 6" taller than the other one.... Don't know what makes it look so much bigger...

Really impressive tractor,Now all you have to do is sweet talk the better half to paint the new (to you)tractor, as I'm sure it will look as great as the gate she done. I had to congratulate you on the new addition and am now heading to take a nap( too much turkey for dinner).
Regards,
LOU

Thanks...
guy we got the cab from took it off the same tractor I have "cause it's ugly".... He cleaned, fixed, and straightened things out, new tires and a couple other things, and painted the whole thing with a brush. Looked very good.
