Guess we knew this going in. Darned shame too. Nice little SRTA tranny and someone runs 'er out of oil and starves that reaction clutch.

Normal only use it on very special occasions. :>)

But, I'm waaaay out here in the sticks and you guys are the only ones I can talk to and fer that matter, the only ones that'll listen to me...........even if I are crazy! :>)

I think we're all crazy anyway, but I did get a kick out of that transmission jig, and the response to that feller when you posted that photo recently, comparing what people wanted in the past and how they are today, whereas your exit strategy/response was reminding you to head over to the can LOL !
 
Jigs and fixtures with 2000$ of factory tools do not make a mechanic, they might make it a tad faster, but then one must pay off the 2000$ with that fasterness. Jim

I don't know who you're tryin' to fool, Allan. You are supposed to be doin' that mechanic stuff in a field at least 1/2 mile fom the house, not in a nice garage. I looked in that pile of tools on your tailgate and I didn't see one crescent wrench or vise grips. What kind of mechanice are you anyway?

The vice-grips are still hangin' hangin' on that flywheel. That's how ya turn the goofy things, ya know. :>)
