1. Hang on to it, maybe can make something out of it.
2. Don't throw that away, those things don't grow on trees, ya know.
3. The other half is around here somewhere.
4. Might need that as a backup if the good one fails.
5. Sure, kid, just push into the woods and come and get it some time.
6. I've seen one just like it go really high on a sale a while back, lets keep it and it probably will get more valuable, they don't make 'em anymore.
7. I've seen this somewhere before, better save it until we find out where it is missing from. (usually little rubber feet, push nut, pencil clip, tiny screw, etc.)

Now those are words to live by...LOL... Seriously my wife gives me a hard time about all of my stuff but last year it was fixing up and selling all my stuff that kept us afloat when my work slowed down.

I will prove your post.
About 4 years ago at auction I purchased two out door
toilets {we call them dunnies]
One good, one rusted frame with not so good iron covering.
Neighbour came by and wanted some rusty tin for his brother, who had purchased a bush block. to make a toilet.
I didn't have any but pointed him the the lesser of the two dunnies which he could have.
Previously I had purchased a saw bench which fits on the back of the Fergy but as I had changed the Pto to the larger size ,my pully was too small.
Neighbour had previously told me he had a pully which would fit the larger shaft. You know where this is going.
He turned up the other day to get the old toilet and suggested a swap. Mad not to.
Original Fergy pully still with grey paint.
My lucky day.

Hey, man, I resemble that remark! LOL That's a good one, but oh, so true. Couple years back, I repaired a friends lawn tractor, when I carried it back, he said, come around here a minute. In a shed beside the barn were about six push mowers. He said, can you use any of this? I allowed as to how I might, and hauled them home. Got one running in no time and a lot of good parts off some of the others.
