fuel in the oil

Started my White 4-150 up the other day and noticed that it was throwing oil out the front engine seal, upon further investigation the oil was diluted with diesel. What has happened? Did I blow a seal in the injection pump, etc?

That IP has a plastic line hanging down the front of the engine that's supposed to dump any seal leakage overboard.

Could be an injector line/fitting under one of the valvecovers.

If your tractor has a roosamaster, it could be the two mushroom seals on the front drive shaft of the injector pump. One keeps fuel from the pump body entering the timing gear case, and the other keeps crankcase oil from the timing gear out of the injector pump body. It's a simple fix- pull the injector pump off and replace the two seals.
