Will a jubile handle a Ford 532 square baler, my old engine mounted baler just blew up and is to wore out to fix. I will be using it on the same 50 acres+ the 85 acres of row crops that i work. thanks

Depends on what you mean by handle it. Flat ground small to med windrows, uh sure. Pulling a hay wagon on hilly ground at the same time, NOT me.

Biggest issues I had with the NAA was ground speed on healthy windrows. Trans driven PTO didn't help.

depends on a lot of conditions. The biggest problem I have with a transmission driven PRO is when you stop for a big slug of hay your baler stops. Live PTO much better. You have about 31 horsepower and fords always had poor brakes. Can be done but a little larger tractor and live PTO would make it much easier

A long time ago Dad had a NAA,JD B, JD70D, and a
IHC M. We tried to bale with the NAA not hardly
possible, I was usted to the transmission driven
PTO. but was way to fast in low gear, also at PTO
speed the engine has hardly any power. The baler
was a 14T JD. The old B was a hole lot better, in
first would bale anything. Oh and we did pull a
wagon a lot of the time. When we custom baled we
always used the 70, independent PTO. and plenty of
power. Then he got a new 350U IHC unbeatable to
bale little squares. Vic

Engine/power wise yes but it will be a pain in the back sides with out a live PTO. As for how well it depends on if you have flat ground or hills and if you plan to pull a wagon. Hills the tractor is almost not heavy enough and if you add a wagon you could be in trouble on a long hill

I had to bale one time with a McCormick W4, when my live PTO tractor was down. Not that difficult after I got onto hitting the clutch, shifting into neutral and letting clutch back out quickly enough that the baler flywheel didn't lose momentum. Surprising how fast you can get those ole gals out of gear, once you get the hang of it. You've gotta anticipate when the "slug" is coming, and do your dance just as its coming up the pickup, not when its trying to go into the bale chamber.

But I agree on speed- Fords are way too high geared for the power they have.
