Hey all,
I'm in the middle of planting winter wheat, and got to thinking about ways to save time. Right now I'm discing and cultivating to bust up the bean stalks and flatten out the field, then using a conventional 510 International 21 run drill. Does anybody use some sort of a coulter cart or minimum tillage device attached directly ahead of their drill to do tillage and plant all in one pass? If so, can you post up pictures and a description?
Basically I just need something to loosen up the ground a little and chop stalks to prevent trash build up, while preventing large dirt lumps.
Thanks!
