Gotta share this..... Buddy done something stupid about a 6 weeks ago which made me do something stupid and have had heel spurs on one foot since. So painful that the knee and hip is screwed up from favoring. Worse part is getting out of bed in the morning or up off the couch after more than a few minutes.....
Been gonna make a doctor appointment but will be written sick and can't afford the downtime. Had goutlike pain before and the vinegar fixed it quick. Hobbled out of bed yesterday morning and had a big gulp (double shot) of vinegar, did the same thing before going to bed last night. Got up this morning and couldn't believe the difference. Gimped a little because of the leg but the heel pain was almost unnoticeable.

Just thought I'd share....

Been taking 1 shot in the morning and 1 shot in the evening of Apple Cider Vinegar for years. The stuff works for many different Health issues.

use anything special or just off the shelf in the store???? I used the store stuff before but we have a place a few miles away that makes apple stuff and the all natural (not filtered) stuff is a little tastier.....

Is that one shot as in a "shot glass size" ? Interesting. I take a gout preventative medicine, but if a shot of vinegar would do the same, one more pill out of the picture.

yeah.... Unbelievable........ You may also notice a change (for the better) in digestion......

Grandma's summer drink. I recon when they didn't have lemons available they would make a picther of ice water spiked with a good dose of vinegar. Grandma was a nice lady, but some of things were tough to understnd as a kid. It must have helped 'cuz she lived to 101!

My wife likes "HEINZ" apple cider vinegar...but
reading the fine print on the label..it says
"artificial"

Those pills you posted about a week or so ago ? for congestion. I checked and here in the States it is by prescription only. Are they over the counter over there ?

yes, but I found them on American amazon (or do you need a prescription with amazon also?)....

Some people have a misconception about the Roman guards giving Christ vinegar to drink while he was being crucified.

I've heard a lot of people think it was an act of derision, forcing Him to drink vinegar.

However, if you study ancient military history you'll find that soldiers of that era were convinced vinegar quenched thirst better than water and routinely carried canteens full of vinegar.

So, when some people think giving Christ vinegar to drink was an act of derision or disrespect, the Roman soldiers considered it an act of mercy.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I have had stomach problems all my 76 yr. life. Had test made the other day. Discovered that I am alergic to 26 different foods. Distilled vinegar being one but, I can have pure apple cider vinegar. That means I can't have barbque sauce or any kind of salad dressing. I been eating oatmeal with blue berries, drinking cranberry juce and coffee every morning for breakfast. Test indicated that I am extremely allergic to oats, blueberries, coffee and cranberries I thought I was eating a healthy breaqkfast. I guess I will make me some ketchup with apple cider vinegar.

I've been drinking the juice off the dill pickles for years. Just plain like it. Of course I've been accused of being an "old sour a$$" too.

The old adage of" an apple a day .... " more truth than poeatry.

Roman marching water bottles got the "soured wine" added to the water, Sponge was often used as a stopper on jugs to be sucked on. Fancy meals got good wine in the water half our before using. The use of vinegar or wine/ethanol in drinking water tends to kill some of the water bugs, reduces stomach upsets. Beer was considered better than water for laborers in Germany and england at times-especially when water was taken from a stream flowing through a cow pasture and sloppy village that didn"t have a sewer system. Survival manuals note the disinfecting of drinking water by use of bleach, iodine, vinegar and ethanol if can"t boil. Condemmed ciminals that had friends with money could pay for opium to be included in the condemmed"s last drink, executioners often did it for politicals as ordered to reduce chance of riot and just for convienence in carrying out sentance on non struggling prisoner. Braggs apple cider vinegar is a good natural brand. It contains the pulp that keeps working in the vinegar.

Good stuff, a spoonful of that and a clove of garlic three times a day will fix alot of problems.

My gal friend always makes up a mix of AC vinegar, honey, and water, and it works for just about any ailment, helps quite a bit with a cold if you catch it soon enough. Honey makes it quite a bit more palatable, still has an interesting tang to it.

Had a old gentleman work for me. He always a quart fruit jar of vinegar water with him. When it was hot it was his favorite beverage. Had to let him go as he smelled like vinegar and customers did noot appreciate that.

Just a thought, have you done any recipe searches
on the internet for home made BBQ sauce and salad
dressings?

By using AC vinegar you should be able to make some
of the vinegar based dressings and BBQ sauce. DOUG
