For Allen. Old chevys

Hi Allen, been reading your post on your Chevy truck. It just occurred to me that I still have my manuals on my 86 Chevy that I no longer own. It includes three books. One is the engines and trans and the 2nd is the running gear i think, and the 3rd is electrical. If you would like to have them I would be happy to send them to you.

Think I have 'em.

When I quit spinnin' wrenches, I stored the things out in my shed. 'Fraid to open the door on that building; might get knocked down. :>)

Thanks for the offer tho. I really appreciate it.

Allan

A comment on the same subject. A friend of mine got his Chevy franchise pulled. He was one of the smallest (and most rural) Chevy dealers around and it was a four-generationj family business. He has many Chevy manuals from the 70s up to mid 2000 range. Cars, truck, components, wiring schematics, etc. I bought a pile of them for $5 to $10 each. Many of the 80s truck manuals in 2 and 3 book sets were $10 total. There are still many books down there but none that I want. If anybody is looking for something specific, post here.

I need a shop manual for a 2001 Chevy K 3500 if it's available.

Hey Paul...I've got an '86 with 19,000 miles on it.. So it might be around another couple of years..What do you want for them ?? Roy

Does anyone have a clue as to WHO is replying to which comment in this thread?

YT needs to make the decision to go with either the modern version, or the classic. Trying to blend the two is nothing but confusing.

This is true. Every other forum I belong to uses the modern format. I had never even SEEN classic till I joined here.

For sure, reply to a post in modern view then go to classic and it says you have replied to a different post altogether, confusing to say the least.

Modern view is far superior.

Edit.

Just for fun I went to classic view right after I made this post, it said that I had replied to Lou from Wis. He's not even in this thread!
