Her pony is going today. Her mother had to give it away, no one wanted to buy it. It is going to a good family. She has another free large horse now which is more her size. Horses just aren't worth much around here because of the economy. Her mother has a horse also. They keep the horses at our place. I am glad to see the pony go, I would feed the horses when they were not here, which is most of the time. Now I have just two horses to feed. Stan

Horses and donkeys are worthless now due to slaughter prohibition pushed by PETA and other "animal rights" groups. Now they starve to death. I hope the PETA folks are happy.

Stan, these days can't even give a horse away around me. I hope for all that it went to a good home. Economy is horrible, and is no reason for it. Well, should be no reason for it, and I will let it drop right there. That's how we have our golden retriever, Macy. The owners lost their jobs, son lost his job and moved home with the parents, and there wasn't ough food, so a new home for Macy, or the glue pot. We didn't even know the people. Just heard about the situation and offered. She's my girl. When I get home, she's on my heels until I leave. I don't mind. Our lab, Maxwell gets plenty of attention from everyone.

Yes, I hope for all that it went to a good home. Its a sad turn of events for far, far too many.

The people the pony went to already have two horses. So they know what is going on as far as horses go. They picked up the pony in a fairly new trailer and truck. I'm sure the pony went to a good home, and will be well cared for. It was nice of you to take the dog, and keep him from a certin death. We have a dog like that who we saved from being put down.
