How do you preserve seed???

O was given a bag of garden seed that was for this spring. So how is the best way to store it so most of it will grow next year?? Was given enough that if say 75% will grow I'll only have to buy 1/2 of what I would do most years.
Thanks.
By the way I was thinking maybe store it in the freezer in a sealed bag or some such thing so as to be air tight

Just put it in a cool dry place(dry basement)It will grow fine next spring.

put hybrid seed corn in a container in the freezer ,, ,

Old
we store in freezer in a glass jar. have kept seeds my "Grandmothers" going for 25 years now. Plant in spring and save in fall.

I would think any one would know the answer to that one, any time you want to keep anything for a long period of time, Freeze it,
it's just common sense...

even you Old would keep for a long time in a freezer

As others have stated, freezing with low humidity is best.
