year round bean bar

Bought a gleaner combine with year round bean bar. Have not had any luck finding info on it. Does have the wobble box. Not sure if the belt that drives it is year round or gleaner. Have not found anything through agco online parts. The drive part on my was hobbled togeather at best and would like to get it done right. Thanks for any amd all help. I have had this posted on the combine site also

They were in Mankato MN until just a short time ago. The auction was or is last week/ this coming month. Theybought the Jerri mowers a few years ago, and that small portion of the business appears to be continuing.

Was a nice long-standing family businees 1/2 hour from me, but just kinda fizzed away the last decade. Think they were making corn stoves of late and they weren't selling so well, the electronics might have caused some problems?

What Paul said is correct. I live 5 minutes from them and they are no more. I worked for the Hiniker Co. in the research dept. and helped design after market bars for them like 100 years ago. I'm pretty sure we used the same wobble box so if you ever need parts for that contact Hiniker Co. and of course the guards and sickle sections are common to all so that leaves us with the covers which any sheet metal shop can form up for you if you need some. Skid plates you can have made. I don't know what kind of spring shoes they used. You might have trouble replacing them if any are broken. I don't know where you could find some. The belt itself just take the old one to Napa and get replacement. If belt is missing wrap a twine string around pulleys for length and go to Napa. Spring on belt tightener you can find at Catco or similar place. Bushings, bearings and pulleys you can get at a bearing supply house. Welding you can do yourself or have the neighbor do it. I think that should about cover everything. Good Luck, The Flying Belgian.

No one said it but if it helps.Gleaners factory floating bar was a Hart Carter,so you have more trouble, you might check with AGCO into somethings interchanging. There wasn't too much diff.among any of the after market bars.We ran A-C HC bars on NIs with no changes to speak of.

Yup- 507-625-6621. Haven"t heard about any auction yet, might be fun to go. I remember the poster"s pix about the setup. Apparently belt slippage from running out of adjustment. Would have simply tried a shorter belt. Especially buying used, never know what the PO did.
