New Holland TC30

Looking at a TC30 four wheel drive with manual transmission, front end loader, 805 hours. Looks new for $8,000.00. What are the problems with these tractors? Thanks DH

I've had a 1530 for 12 years .Basically the same tractor only 4 less HP.Got 2000 hours on it.Been in the shop twice.Once for the hydraulic top link to be installed and to have the loader mounted.One of the best tractors I've ever owned.

I'm with Ohiojim below- time is of the essence, because if its in any kind of shape at all, it won't last at that price.

Couple of friends have them, haven't experienced any problems that I know of. One guy high-centered his on a stump, it bent up some stuff, but he was amazed that it didn't cause major damage.

At that price, I"d be leery of it being a scam. Proceed with caution. I priced a new one with loader about 5 years ago and as I recall, it was nearly $30,000.

The owner is a neighbor of mine and he has too many tractors now. I am going to buy it and that will make me three when I only need one. Too good a deal to pass up. DH

We have a TC40 where I work. The only problem is that it's gutless, more of a toy. It's Ok for a lawnmower but for real work I would look for another tractor. At that price you might be able to sell it and turn a profit.
