ford 9n radiatror

i have a 1939 ford 9n tractor that i had the radiator re-worked and bought an aftermarket schroud, the schroud is 2 inches too wide. So im not sure which is wrong.The company i bought the schroud from is out till march 2012. I called a couple of other suppliers and they are out of stock too. I need to know is my radiator too narrow or schroud too wide compared to original. any help is appreciated!

Most likely the new shroud is for a 55-64 model tractor.

Is it relieved for a lower hose on the bottom left or the bottom right?

If you post this down in the 9N/2N/8N forum you will get more answers and maybe even find some one who has the correct one on hand. I know of a couple guys who post there that most likely have one they would let loose of
