What PTO pulley options ?

I want a double B sheave to mount on a 540 PTO shaft - diameter
about 6" to 9". What tractors/implements might have used such
that I can look for to get just the pulley?

For example, in the mid 50s, Ford, Ferguson, and John Deere 40U
drove a midmounted Detroit Harvestor mower with such a pulley.

Ag/industrial "bearings and drives"-type places will have an assortment of pulleys and matching hubs that fit PTO splines.

If non local, give Baum Hydraulics in Omaha a call and tell them what you need.

Surplus Center has splined PTO couplings upon which an industrial taper-lock bushing and pulley can be mounted. Or you could just delete the coupling and put the taper-lock on the PTO shaft. Depends if you want the pulley permanently (more or less) attached or easily removable. Surplus Center has the bushing and pulley too. Just order on their website and UPS will deliver in about a week.

I think a ford 2,000 uses one like that for their side mounted mower.

I might have one. Let me look in my "junk pile". would be from a side mount dearborn mower. Will check size and let you know.
