Moline Uni PTO Fore-Cart

I picked up a Balor and a picker sheller for a
Museum yesterday and the guy had a cart that the
units could be mounted on and drive with PTO.
Anybody ever seen one of these? I neglected to get a
picture. It was built with large diameter pipe and
had 24 inch tires.

Never heard of that but seen many a storage carts and they had about 28" diameter steel wheels. The museum in Coldwater Ohio may have the information on it as New Idea bought the Uni System from Moline and the first New Idea uni systems were the later model Moline system. For any information on New Idea go to that museum.

That was a M Moline cart that was built to convert the MM Uni self propelled harvesters to a pull type. They were built in the early 1960's.

I have the orginal advertising showing the corn picker, picker sheller and the combine. The head on the combine had to be off-set to the right.

I don't have a way to post any pictures.

J D says it correctly. I say get it now ! Before the junkie gets it. It is a hard to find item. Mount one of the machines on it to show how it was used .
Been around M M all my life , seen about 1/2 dozen of them. oleclint
