3 point went up but won't come down. also tried cyl,only works one way

JD B? Check your manual, if I remember right, there"s a setting on the Power Trol that may have gotten turned.... But don"t quote me on that - been a long time ago. Not JD? then disregard above.

Is this some aftermarket Allis Chamers B hydraulic system? If you have a single acting hyraulic cylinder, which makes me think that you may mean Allis B, is there any weight on the three point hitch? There are several after market three point hitches for the Allis Chalmers B, some that use a single acting cylinder. If there isn't anything attached to the hitch, it will not retract.
