Do you have ethanol blend in NC? If so be careful of water accumulation in the boat tank. We have had a lot of problems with water being absorbed into the fuel.

It shouldn't hurt anything. If there was any water in the gas the boat motor would have problems also. It may have some oil added if the boat motor is a 2 cycle but it should run ok in a regular engine.

I've dumped 6 gallons of mixed outboard fuel in my truck with no problem. Seems like the mix was 16:1 back then. . . 40:1 or 50:1 today would be about the same as what you're proposing.

I use mine in the tractor, but 5 gal of mix with 15 gal of gas will never hurt anything.

I have dumped 2 cycle mix into lawn mowers and older vehicles. I even mixed two gal heating fuel with six gas in a Volkswagen and it ran. (rough, but it ran). My understanding is that very much oil consumption will ruin the catalytic converter. Just a thought.
