BOX PLOW

See article above about a "box plow". What the heck is a "box plow".....I have an 8ft. Box Blade behind my 4610 Ford and am 'real good' using it. I just can't figure out what a "box plow" is...????

Is this just a regional difference in the name of the same implement??

it sounds to me that he is talking about a box scraper or box blade

That's what I thought, too. One thing that makes my rig a delite to operate is the hydraulic top link and the hydraulic side link (replacing the screw apparatus).

the case 570 that i run at work has the hydraulics like that too. makes adjustments a lot easier and faster than on the 8n at home.

Where I come from that is called a box scraper with scarifier teeth.Doesn"t mean you are wrong just different areas have different descriptions.
