Clearspan fabric buildings?

Anyone have any experience with large Clearspan fabric buildings, or similar? I'm looking into possibly covering the training arena- be looking at about 90 x 150. I've seen a few...but I'm wondering how they hold up.

They hold up well if you keep the fabric tight. Wind is the biggest enemy of them. If your building is enclosed on each end then they work well. I have though about them for several project but so far have not used one. Good friend has one that is fifteen years old. It is in good shape still. His is a 40 x 80 that is open one each end. He uses it for a machinery shed. Funny thing is the birds don't seem as bad in it as they are in his pole shed fifty feet away.

Cost makes them attractive. They are not hard to put up either. Have helped on two. One on a four foot wooden wall. The other one had a straight wall kit on it.

There was an article about them in the latest Michigan Farmer Magazine. You might be able to read it online. Just Google the magazine. Seems like the largest one to go up around here recently was 150x380 or something like that at a fertilizer plant.

I have a 12 X 25 in the back yard it is holding up very well, about 5 years now.My complaint is I bought it thru a sale catalog they had price on sale was $875 when I called, the price was over a thousand. The next catalog had the $875 sale price, and $875 in several since. Plus I get 3 or 4 catalogs a year from them now.
