I'm done

, well not really, as it all has to be raked and baled but 2011 is at least all cut. If there's any more here I'll have to buy it. Been cutting since Thursday, had one guy raking today. I dont like to cut this much at once but finally got a clear forecast.

Like they say, ya gotta do it while the sun shines! At least you got a break in the weather. My neighbor mowed some yesterday. Supposed to be decent weather here thru the weekend.

I've got hay that's been raked a week and the
humidity is so low we never get any dew. It's way
too dry to bale. What do I do now? I always thought
hay was "safe" in the windrow.

It"s been a LONG time since we"ve had almost 10 days or more here in central KY without rain or forecast of rain. Next "chance" is next Tuesday.
