Well, I am pleased to report that it is finally too wet to plow in my neighborhood! From mid-afternoon Wednesday until Thursday about 6:00 PM we received three and a half inches. Went out about 9:00 this morning between showers and gauge had over two more inches in it and it has been raining all day.
Most of my yard drains into a small pond in back of house, water was so low that I have been mowing about twenty feet of it all summer. That is under about four inches of water now.
Told Mother Nature thank you, that's enough for right now, send some of it to Texas and other places. Don't know if She will cooperate or not.

2:45 P.M. Just stepped outside to check the mail. and gauge had three inches in it. Makes a total of six and a half since Wed. afternoon. About half the sky was blue, clouds moving off to East.

So where might your neighborhood be?

There are millions of neighborhoods in this world and I don't know which one you are talking about.

Gary, I don't know where Red is, but at my place in W SC I got 4.4 inches over 3 days, which is great because we were really, record breaking dry, just not as bad as TX. Most of it came slow enough to soak in.

Sorry, Gary. I have mentioned it from time to time when I would post, but, I live in central North Carolina, about eight miles south of Asheboro, just off Hwy. 220.And about five miles north of Seagrove, which is the handmade pottery capital of the U.S. But I ain't gonna give you my house number! LOL
