I just got a silver king tractor. Does anybody know where the serial number is located?

Its on a tag on either the left or right side of the transmission.If you have the oridinal engine there is a casting date on the right side of engine just above the oil pan.We can come close to a date with that casting number and some good pictures.

I think that could vary from the first style tractors to the later style as about the only thing in common is the 3 wheels and then some of the earlier style were 4 wheel tractors.
