New tractor tires

Just put new tires on theSuperH. Harvest King,11.2x38/4ply.$320.00 each(the Firestone was $490).Made in China!Good lookin' tires.Trouble is the tread bars are twice as far apsrt as a 'normal'tire.No wonder that the tires were $150 cheaper,they only got half the rubber!....

Let me know how ya like em after a bit..

I've decided probably next summer my 930 Case is gonna get some new shoes.. Local tire guy keeps trying to push em on me, but says he hasn't sold any of em, so..

I don't really need a "name brand" as I'd say in the 7 years or so I've had the tractor I haven't put 100 hours on it yet..

Tryin to "get informed" before I shell out the cash.

I bought a pair for my Farmall B last summer. Bought American Farmer 11.2x24 4ply $345.00 each + dismounting & remounting. Tread spaceing good and a deep bars nice looking tire.

I bought a set of Farm King 11.2x38 for $216 a tire in 2009. Made in India, 4 ply. I am very happy with them!

put 11.2x28's on my little tractor for right at (exchange rate) $300 w/ installation, tube, and junking the old. 8 ply, normal spacing from romania. If I get this new one, gotta do it again.

I have 4 year old front 600-16 that I believe are Harvest King on my H and they are weather checking badly on the sidewalls. I'll have to see how they do over the next couple of years.

My granddad bought new 15.5-38's for his 730 Deere. Bought them from Co-op. Pulling the oil tires off the rim and installing the new tires adn tubes was $1050.00. The tires are china made tires but seem to be alright so far. I would've rather had Firestones but maybe next time!
