O/T Worst week ever:

Thursday morning auto accident, the car probably being a write-off, got charged - seeing a lawyer about that; Friday morning the Fordson Major starts puking white smoke on the field, and now it won't start, that night the 6.0L F350 dies and won't start; yesterday morning my son's eye appointment with the specialist (that was booked 7 months ago) was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice; this morning the Ford dealership tells me the engine is finished, and my beloved cat of over 15 years got euthanized today so I was out trying to dig a hole in the clay through my tears with a dull spade.
I may have my health and my family is still safe, but you've got to admit that losing both vehicles, a tractor, and your best pet within a 5 day span is really pushing the boundaries of someone's sanity. Feels like the world has ganged up on me.

Sorry for blabbing my sorrows upon all of you, but I'm in a world of hurt right now.

Jay

I am not qualified as a therapist but I do wish you a better day ahead. Unloading your hurt helps you feel better and helps the rest of us to find ways to help. When you are at the bottom there is only one way left, UP. HTH, stay safe.

Jason,

I'm so sorry to hear of the discouragements that have piled onto you this week. Any one of them is bad enough by itself, when coupled together, the group is surely overwhelming.

I have no words of wisdom for you, but know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You really fit in that old saying if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all.Hope everything gets better for you out of all your bad luck your pet passing to me is the worst.I had to put my buddy down 9/1/2011 I had him for 16 years it's very hard to deal with.

Life does get a little overwhelming at times. I would imagine that just about everyone on this site as experienced such at one time or another. And don't apologize for "blabbing", your sorrows on us as you put it. We all need a little understanding and support from time to time, and I have noticed that most people here are willing to do what they can. Good luck. STR

No worries about 'blabbin'. I come here for some sanity after too much bad stuff.

Sorry for your loss, hang in there you have friends thinking about you.

Brad

Like my first boss used to say "illegitimatus noncarborundum" which is latin for "Don't let the b@st@rds grind you down". Better days are coming.

I have to agree, has been a bad week.

Had to put our favorite horse down due to colic, after having surgery to correct it. Left a 1 month orphan foal. They called 2 days later, mispronounced her name "Nestle" and said I owe $4400 for the surgery. Have not got the local vet bill but I bet that will be close to $250. Then today, finally a nice day to cut hay, the darn Moco decided to drop some parts and throw the drive chain.

Without bad luck, i would have no luck at all...at least the foal seems to be doing OK.

John

Don't reply often but, I'm really sorry for
your loss of those vehicles!! BUT the loss
of a beloved friend, (pet) takes a big bite
out of your heart!!! Hang in there Jason,
we all are, thinking, and praying for you!!
Bob
God Bless

After reading this I guess my week is doing ok after all. Gald you and your family are safe. the mechanical things can be fixed. I feel bad for you losing your best friend. I have gone through the very same thing with my cats. we sure get attached to these animals. Hang in there the best you can. Stan

sounds bad, but you came out OK.... family in the next town over lost everything they owned on the weekend including all animals (livestock and pets) except a couple cats, father, grandparents, equipment shot, and some serious injuries to a fire........ One of the drawbacks of everything being under the same roof.

you'll come out of yours. Keep your head up.

Jay. Throughout all our troubles there is indeed a silver lining. Seems as though the dark clouds of despair hangs over our heads way to long. The good Lord has us in his hands, and shields us from lingering pain . We who survive time and illness watches our friends and pals pass away, leaving a void in our lives. Remember and cherish all the great times you had together and say a prayer for those who are suffering. Sorry for your loss. God Bless . LOU

Get a second opinion on the 6.0! The dealer messed up my friend's really bad, and he got it straightened out by an independent.

Jay, your a real dope, read what Hiennemann says and try hard to live better then a dope.

any one who loves a dumb animal like that is as dumb as the animal, and we have lots of them around.

Big 10: You are the real dope here for posting that to a guy who is sincerely greiving. Don't criticise until you walk in his shoes.

Sorry you"ve had such a bad time of it. Its hard to lose animals who have been our companion for many years.

You"re in my prayers.

Jay, Sorry you're having such a bad run,RE: your 6.0 liter, You might want to try Slingshot Mechanical in Wpg. He specializes in them. Good Luck

Joe .. you come in here and start your BS you don't understand why it is so hard for others to like you.
You talk about others not having common sense, and having bad attitudes. when in fact you have the biggest problem trying to get along with yourself.

Really bad for a man with an education like you have to show how childish you are.

I have known you have written many fine articles in a local paper that did make sense, but coming on here just to needle people I would think is not your natural style. And we really don't know why you are trying to hide behind so many names when all it takes is a few posts to know who you are.... You want to be friends ? just post non degrading subjects.
