Rain got into town around five last night. At this time 3:50 AM it is still raining. Sure hope it stays in town for a few days.

Finally got some rain at our place in Dallas. Had a Tstorm last night. High winds, very hard rain, some small hail.

Rained very hard for about 30 min. Best I can tell we got about 2 inches of much needed rain. Actually had MUD this morning.

Some of the cracks in the ground were big enough to put a baseball in. This should close them up some.

It rained here in NE Texas at the farm 3 times yesterday.

Started early yesterday morning about 7:15am through about 9:15am.

A brief 20 minute shower yesterday afternoon.

Last night the thunderstorms moved in a 9:15pm and continued until after midnight.

Checked the rain gauge this morning and had about 1.5 inches.

Took a short walk this morning to check for wind damage.

A lot of small limbs were down, but nothing major.

Rain cap blown off center on "1011" our 53 Model 70, but still there.

We received a total of 1.1 inches over the weekend. I'm 80 miles SSE of Billy. It's not much but every little bit helps. It will lessen the fire danger for a few days, so it is very welcome. We are still about 20-25 inches behind for the year.

If you flatten the open end of the can until it will just slide over the pipe it will stay put in most storms.
