Great stuff!! It's interesting, the tale of the rails just hasn't changed in the last 60+ years. It's good to hear good music that is not just a bunch of gas & nonsense. I just copied "Uncle Dave Macon At Home" to my computer from vinal. Wow, how sound & purpose have changed in music! I can't wait to fill in the gap between Uncle Dave & Mr. Jett. There seems to be a good lineage in that breed of bluegrass.

Thanks for the good dinner music!

The sign about the Saluda Grade is about 40 miles from my house. Wife and her family lived at the foot of the grade. No trains on it now either. About half way up the grade they have a turnout where they can send a runaway train out opn a siding that goes up hill briefly. A pile of gravel at the end of it if the train gets that far.

I wanna be a guitar picker some day you are doing better than I could possibly do. Heck I'm still a two finger typer I could never get used to finger picks so I have to use a flat one

Started another post for the YT Band .. get that thing out before it gets rusty .... Grab the rest of the guys on the way.
