Picked up 'nother tractor- Allis wd

I didn't- my brother did. Just ripping up the horribly bumpy driveway before i change the teeth on my old mech lift cultivator. Maybe I'm biased, but I think I'll stick with my 77, much smoother and nicer to operate.

Nice pictures, makes me want to go fire up my WC. Right now my driveway is so hard, I would need the dozer to grade it.

He paid 675 for it, we were lucky the auctioneer (Tom from Sunrise) noticed that my brother and my dad were bidding against eachother, and got my dad to stop bidding!
Also, are the transmissions on these tractors normally grindy and hard to get in gear, or is the clutch not completely disengaging?

I wouldn't say they grind, but if you are still moving a bit they can be. I spend most of my time going from 2 to rev on mine and that shift is good. Into 1st isn't bad. 3rd and 4th can a bit, but they are also hard for me to "feel". Might not hurt to find an I&T manual or have someone here look up the adjustment. It's pretty easy if I remember right.
