Dont like next weeks forecast

not one bit. Beans could use another nice warm dry long week, all corn with the exception of the last 30 acres are all drying down, but that last feild just started denting this week. On a side note has any one else noticed the purple m,artins and blue birds are all flocked in hundredsds and moving south already? Also, the geese , normally always in small family groups this time of year are in big flocks already.

Sure hope there's no killing frost for a while. My beans need all the time they can get.

By next wednesday morning temp could be 37. That is low enough to get frost in the low ground. Most beans are green yet here in western MN. We should really have 2 more weeks of good weather to be safe. The air is so dry here, temps drop real fast as the sun goes down

Average frost date in West Central Wisconsin is
Sept. 16 ! Knowing that...I plant corn or beans
with early maturity dates.
