This is the Farmall M that I bought 4 weeks ago,
a little bit more degreasing and it will be ready for paint.
It runs great after I put in new plugs, new plug wires, new points, Distributor
And new rotor cap, new oil and new Antifreeze good for 40 below.
It needs a new seat shock. and new tires. Then it will be done.
I will tell you what I paid for it, but don’t hurt me OK
$1.400.00 Delivered 80 miles. NOT BAD HA.
Got at go, see ya later.

It would be a crime to paint that tractor!!! How many M's do you see painted vs original? The painted ones are a dime a dozen. So many people think that a coat of paint will up the value. When in reality you are taking away from a beautiful tractor. Do what you want, but I would leave the paint in the can!!!!

That"s a good looking old tractor. Spent alot of years on one of those! It looks great as is but I like to paint too so post it after you paint it.

any good original tractor with nice original paint is worth more than a painted one. its the originalality that collectors want not paint.

Power steering,3 sets of wheel weights,fairly straight metal,DELIVERED !!!!

Nice ride!!! you got there, just wash it off and use it !!!!!

I didnt even mention the rear fenders on it !(Dont see that everyday!)Wash it and seal anything that is leaking.I really doesnt need paint.maybe touch up some items?

Give you $1600 IF you deliver! Grills bent, tires weather checked and worn, Yada - Yada -Yada. LOL

Nice find!

PS: Must be from Allen in Neb if it fallowed ya - He breakin up the herd?

Beautiful tractor. Stop up the leaks, wash and rinse it a couple times. A fancy paint job will spoil its integrity.

LOOKS ALOT LIKE THE ONE DAD SOLD TOO MY UNCLE 25YRS AGO AND THAT WAS REPAINTED THEN;;;SO WHAT MAKES U GUYS THINK THAT IS THE ORIGINAL PAINT
???? FIND A GREEN TINTED GLASS MASON JAR FOR THE AIR SETTELMENT AND LEAVE HER AS IS ;;PERFECT

I disagree with all those who say NOT to paint your tractor.
This is just my opinion, but I'm sticking to it.
People don't go to tractor shows to see ugly tractors.
When I was young, we had a neighbor who cleaned his A-C tractors every night before shedding them, and before winter they were washed and waxed.
At trade in time, they may have been smooth worn out inside, but there was a waiting list of people who wanted his tractors because they looked good.
"If it looks good, it must be good!"

She sure is sharp. You did yourself well. Congratulations. Just get a look at that grin across its face. Tells me ready to go lookin for trouble. Best kind.

I've been eyeballin a 400 thats been setting in a field for a couple of years. Just settin there looking for a home, and someone to knock the beehives out from under the hood. I think I'm the guy for the job.

What is it going to be... a workhorse or show pony. paint the second. Antiques lose value if the original finish is fiddled with.
