it was nice while it lasted

The weather this week has been great. Daytime temps in low 80"s with nights in the upper 50"s to low 60"s. Cool north breeze, but no rain.

Weather forecast says that"s coming to an end. This time next week, we"ll be back to upper 90"s, may even break 100 again.

Got a tropical depression in the gulf, but even if it does go north, the high pressure ridge will push it east of Tx. Looks like Louisiana may get another drenching.

Oh well.

It sure has been nice, I wish we could of had the rain to go with it! Most of the lakes/tanks are drying up, I have cracks in the yard that I can lose a cow in.

The tropical storm that passed through here last week has been a tremendous blessing. We had three and a half inches of rain over a four day period. No more rain in forecast for next week but high temps are supposed in the high 70s and low 80s. What a delightful break.

I hope something moves into Texas soon.

West Central Wisconsin, in the Mississippi River
valley. Morning low is 40, Afternoon high in 70"s
Canadaian cold front is keeping the heat and
humidity to the south and west. First frost date
is usually between the 15th and 20th.The last cut
of hay is down, and drying nicely in the low humidity, (Dewpoint 40). "Old Man Winter" will
soon be here!

Ya up here in Missouri we have set if it went below 45 last night that is 2 record cold nights. Old record was 46 back in 1956 so yep odd weather at best but I still say hold on because this winter is going to worse then last year is. I sort of hope I am wrong but we will know for sure in May. I know the Gulfport area of Mississippi was getting it not long ago but only know that because that is where the boy is stationed at this time

Other than a tropical storm, no rain forecast for the next month and a half, according to the weatherman. They are going to have a tough time getting all the fires out.

We here in northeastern and central Pennsylvania would very much like to share some of our rain in the past 2 days with the much deserving folks in Tesas and other places that really need it. We here are in a state of emergency with real bad flooding.
