Urethane paint

I have been using the Martin Senour urethane paint with hardener on the tractor frames, and am very pleased with the results.

I am looking at the sheet metal now. I plan to get it sand blasted, epoxy prime, then multiple coats or urethane with wet sanding in between.

Any experiences, or issues with cracking?

just knock that sandblast down with 80, epoxy prime, use surfacer if needed, sand that to smooth, seal, two coats of urethane finish should do it. No need to sand between coats. I have never had any issues with cracking, good luck on your project.

i have not had any problems with urethane cracking. generally 3-4 coats is all you need. no need to wet sand between coats as long as you do not have any dirt, runs, boogers or cooties in the paint. put the last coat on wet for a high gloss. if done right, no need to buff.
