its been a long time since of been typing to my friends here on our site, There was a bad storm here in nj, our town got flooded bad,our house is ok, but our power was off for 7 days, the day after the storm,moday at 5 pm. , my mom passed away,
 
Larry,From your absence I was sure something had happened to your Mom.I'm very sorry to hear of her passing.I hope you and the rest of your loved ones are ok and safe.I'm glad to hear from you.May God bless your Mom you and family.

Stressful news or events, like the storm, take their toll on frail folks, the same with my mom. So sorry to hear this terrible news.
 
Thoughts are with you. Take the values she built into your life into the future as her legacy. May peace be with her.

Sorry to hear about the multiple issues, but yeah, I know your Mother passing had to be the worst- you did so much to care for her. I"m glad that you had so many years with her- Jim
 
Lost my mom six years ago. Sorry for your loss. Remember the small things. My mom was a great cook--nothing gormet just a good basic cook. No one makes rice pudding, mac-n-cheese, and bisquits like hers, even using the same recipe.

Sorry about your Mom. But just think about the time you had with her.All the things you tried to away with. But she caught you everytime. I am 61 and my mother is 82. I still can't pull anything over on her. I still think she has xray vision.
 
Wow, we are so very sorry for the loss of your Mom. It was obvious to us all that you cared for her very much in the wonderful pictures you shared of her in the home while sharing the veggies. Always look at the positive things my friend, she is no longer suffering although the pain of her loss will linger in your heart for quite some time.
My mother left this earth over 5 years ago and there is hardly a day goes by still that I don't think of her. Especially days like this that I read of someone else experiencing the same.
Our prayers are with you, and we all hope to see more of your wonderful pictures posted here again soon!
 
Larry so sorry to hear that. Just remember your mom is in a better place, and The Lord never gives you more than you can handle. Good Luck
 
I'm sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. You and your family are in my prayers. I'm glad also that the storm damage was not any worse. I'm looking forward to your future post and pics. God Bless you and your family. Rick
 
Do not know how or what you believe but to me your mom is by far in a better place but yes I know it still hurts BTDT and lost my dad a number of years back. Hang in there better days are yet to come or at least we can hope so
 
sorry about your mom, remember you were good to her, visited her, took her garden food. Mine passed in 2005 , time helps, keep the memories, Mark
 
Wonder how you faired in the storm ,,but had no idea about your mother. Will just take a lot of time to get over. Have lost my dad and mother both and time is the only answer.. Our prayers are with you.. Always love your photos.

Sorry for your loss, and the unwanted damaged left by the storm. Look for better days ahead and charish all the memories left by mom to fall back on when you need a uplift. I have both parents and in-laws, not looking forward to that day. God Bless. Gregg
 
Yes Larry my condolences as well.
Bet the girls at the home will miss her too. they seemed to enjoy the produce she handed out of your garden.

Although nothing could ever replace her ... maybe a tree dedicated in her name at the end of that garden may be a comfort for shade as she sheltered / nurtured you as a little one . Her spirit will be around as long as anyone that knew her .
 
I lost my mom 43 years ago this fall and my dad 41 years ago both too young: but every decision I make every day if is influenced by the way I was brought up by them.

I thank God for the years that I had them and accept, that although I wanted more, God felt that they had done their job and were ready for their reward.

Prayers for God’s comfort to the survivors and may he help you to heal.

RIP Larry’s Mom.
