Hey guys yesterday while working around the ranch transmission fluid starting quickly dripping out of the tube that houses the kickdown cable. I have never had this trouble before so it's odd. Is the tube that houses the cable sold separately or as a whole unit with the kickdown?

I think you gotta buy the whole thing cause the ends are made onto the cable. You can change it out without dropping the pan.

The new cable isn't gonna look anything like the old one as the design was changed years ago and they are now all plastic.

That 'barrel' portion of the cable houses the TV link, so unhook the top from the carb first, which will allow you to then unhook the link down at the transmission.

Otherwise you'll have to pull the pan and the hairpin.....no fun that way. :>)
