Picking Corn

I have a 41 H, and an old co-op picker, i was wondering if the h would have enough power to run the picker and pull the wagon, its an 80-100 bushel gravity bin wagon.

We pulled a one row Case picker with an Oliver 66 without any problem. Your H is larger than the 66.

Sounds like the perfect setup to me. You do know you don't have to fill the wagon.

Millions of bushels of corn have been picked with one row pickers and 20-30 h.p. tractors like your H. If the ground is soft you may need to not fill the wagon all the way up.

I doubt an H can go slow enough for that old picker to handle today's corn yields, or does the H even have enough power to run it. Corn yield was maybe 60 to 80 bu. per acre when that setup was used. Wayne

You'll be fine. Only problem could be wet or muddy ground so if that's the case, don't load up full.
